Lee Goodwin and Sarah Carling tied the knot in the first wedding to be held on the Yorkshire Wheel. The wheel, at York's railway museum was granted a licence in August to hold wedding ceremonies.
The couple were married in one of the 42 observation pods, 200ft from the ground with family and friends listening into the ceremony via intercom. The pod was then returned to ground level for the signing of the register.
